Recording at Salad Days

Hey friends.

We are currently in downtown Baltimore at Salad Days Studio's recording our full length with Brian Mcternan (Thrice, Converge, Cave-In, Darkest Hour).

The last few days have been spent getting settled in and demoing all the songs for the album.

Here are some shots from the trip over/ begining of tracking drums.

After the success of their maiden headline tour earlier this year, Melbourne six-piece House VS Hurricane will be hitting the road in June, with support coming from Adelaide up and comers Nazarite Vow.

The last twelve months has seen House VS Hurricane tour nationally with acts as diverse as Bullet For My Valentine (UK) and The Amity Affliction, as well as landing the coveted local slot on the Melbourne leg of the 2009 Soundwave Festival and headlining countless hometown shows.

Having become one of true the stalwarts of the Adelaide scene, Nazarite Vow are gearing up to deliver their long awaited EP “Conspirators”, which will see a release on June 5^th through Tenspeed Music.

After a hugely successful 2008, Melbourne six-piece House VS Hurricane are heading out for their first official headlining tour, ably supported by Mary Jane Kelly (NSW) and City Escape (VIC).

2008 saw House VS Hurricane release their debut EP “Forfeiture”, and to say the response was massive would be an understatement. Subsequent tours with The Devil Wears Prada (USA), Mourning Tide, The Amity Affliction and Bullet For My Valentine (UK) have ensured that the band’s profile is continuing to rise at a rapid rate.

Hailing from Wollongong, NSW, Mary Jane Kelly is another one of Australia’s fastest growing punk/hardcore bands. After releasing their debut EP through Trial & Error Records, the group secured supports with acts such as A Wilhelm Scream (USA), Carpathian, Comeback Kid (USA) and Verse (USA), as well has touring nationally with Melbourne metal outfit The Abandonment.

Rounding out this impressive bill is Melbourne-based newcomers City Escape. With the ink still fresh on their recent deal with Taperjean Records (home to Closure In Moscow, The Mission In Motion) these kids are ready to take their energetic live show on the road.
